Terms and Conditions

** Please read these terms and conditions carefully as these conditions incorporate the basis on which bookings for Mitten Group are
accepted. Failure to abide by these Terms and Conditions permits the owner or the manager to refuse the keycode, amend the rental, apply
additional charges, and/or terminate the occupancy.**

Cancelation Policy
​​Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Smoking and Events
Smoking and events are strictly forbidden, if guests are caught braking this law they can be kicked out with no refund.

Check In/Check Out
Check in and out times on each listing must be followed unless approved by someone on our team.

Payment
Payment of 50% of the total booking fee is required on confirmation of booking and the other 50% is automatically deducted from the card on file 1 day before check in.

Accommodations
We’ll do our best to accommodate any reservation change requests, however can’t make any guarantees. Changes to reservations may also result in rate changes.

Damages
All damages, breakages or losses to the property, furniture and furnishings are to be reported to the manager by the guest immediately. Should you discover a default or breakage or maintenance/safety issue when you arrive, please advise one of our team or we will consider those the responsibility of the current guest and charge accordingly. When a guest registers or an invitee of a guest enters the premises, they are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these conditions. Guests and invitees are expected to behave in a manner, which is conducive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests within the property.
In the event that the property has been either damaged (whether such damage is wilful or not) the manager without reference will enter a debit on the credit card of the guest and the guest hereby authorizes the manager to do so. This is at the sole and absolute discretion of the manager and/or its servants or managers of Mitten Property

Rules
Please respect the Traverse City Noise Ordinance which mandates quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am.

No fireworks are allowed on any property.

Pets
Dogs are allowed at a few of our properties, make sure to check the listing to see if the one you want allows them or not. Please note if the property does allow dogs there is a $120 non refundable pet fee. If a pet is brought to the property without payment or to a property that does not allow dogs The Mitten Group is allowed to charge the card on file the $120 pet fee and the guest authorizes the manager to do so.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy
If your booking is canceled due to Mandatory government travel restrictions any funds paid to date will be held in credit for your use in the future.

What is included in the rental fee?
Linens, Towels, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, and a start pack of consumables such as; toilet paper, paper towel, coffee, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, dryer sheets, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash.

Under 18
All clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an individual over the age of 21. We have the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian over 21 cannot provide current photo ID if requested on check-in.
