*ABOUT SPIDER LAKE*
Spider Lake is a 459 Acre All Sports Lake with big sections for water-skiing and tubing, small coves for fishing, and a couple islands and sandbars. ‘Fast boating’ is allowed only between 11:00 am – 7: 30 pm, so the morning and evening are quiet. Many of the coves are no-wake zones all day and great for fishing any time. With lots of bays and coves, you can find somewhere new to explore every day!
*RELAXING WINE TOURS*
Traverse City is known for its wineries! If you drive up Old Mission or Leelanau Peninsula, there are several wineries to stop by every few miles. Take your own car (& a designated driver!) and have a leisurely drive, OR book a private or join-in group tour! Many wine tour companies pick-up and drop-off at vacation rentals around the area. Reach out to us before check-in to help plan your trip!
*WINTER SPORTS*
The Winter Sports VASA Singletrack includes more about 10 miles of groomed trails for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, biking or running, and can be accessed just a few miles from the property. The Michigan DNR Designated Snowmobile Trails can also be accessed just a few miles from the home.
Snowshoe at local wineries, enjoy heated dining in private igloos, and come back to enjoy an evening warming up in the sauna!
Please let us know if you have any questions!
Transit
Our home is a short drive from downtown Traverse City where there are seasonal festivals including the National Cherry Festival, Traverse City Film Festival, and so much more!
Notes
We ask that you not smoke or have pets at the property. We also ask that groups are limited to 7 adults due to number of beds available. If your group is larger and includes children, we may be able to accommodate – please let us know!
